Hello and welcome to the Call Tracking Blog! We’re here to provide an unbiased perspective on the phone call tracking industry, vendor and product reviews, and best practices for implementation and analytics.

The idea for this site sprang from my involvement in several client projects that required some heavy-duty call tracking capabilities. The more we dug into the available options, the more impressed we were at the variety and sophistication of the solutions and vendors currently servicing the needs of marketers and agencies. However, we were also disappointed in the lack of relevant, unbiased content available to marketers.

To address these knowledge gaps, our main areas of focus will include:

  • Implementation best practices
  • Website analytics integration
  • Product and vendor reviews
  • Mobile/click-to-call advertising
  • Case studies and white papers

Our goal is to share information and create a community for marketers, analysts and vendors to share and learn from each other.

Who the heck am I?

What gives me the right to start a poorly-designed but official-sounding blog on call tracking? Well, nothing really. I’m not an expert. I’m simply a search engine marketing and web analytics consultant that was disappointed in the dearth of useful information available on call tracking.

In other words, somebody had to do it.

Here’s where you come in…

This is not meant to be a one-way conversation. If you’d like to submit case studies, articles, news, tips and tricks, or any other content for consideration, please contact me and we can discuss the best way to get it online. No, it’s not a pay-for-placement deal and we’re not going to recycle your press releases. We’re not corporate shills and there is no hidden agenda, just useful information for anybody that wants it.

In other words, we aim to add context and value to the disjointed and inadequate information that exists within and about the call tracking industry.

Do you have suggestions for content or the site in general? Anything you think we should know? Please leave a comment.

Thanks for stopping by!
